1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Masar Taxi app, the Masar Driver app, the Masar admin platform, and the website at masar-taxi.com (together, the "Services"), operated by Masar LTD ("Masar," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Description of the Service

Masar operates a technology platform that connects riders seeking transportation with independent, third-party drivers. Masar is not a transportation carrier and does not itself provide transportation services. Drivers who use the Masar Driver app are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Masar.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account, and keep that information up to date.
• Accounts are verified using one-time passcodes sent to your email address; Masar does not use passwords. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for all activity under your account.
• Drivers must be approved by Masar before receiving trip requests. Approval requires submission of a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and any other documentation Masar may request. Masar may reject, suspend, or revoke driver approval at its discretion, including for failed document review, safety concerns, or policy violations.

4. Using the Rider Service

• Requesting a trip. Riders may request a solo trip or a shared trip ("Share & Split") through the Masar Taxi app. Trip requests are matched to the nearest available approved driver.
• Shared rides. On a shared ride, each participating rider is picked up from their own location and shares one common destination with the other riders on that trip. The total trip fare is split evenly among all participants, calculated on the actual final fare once the trip is complete; each rider is responsible only for their own calculated share, not for any other rider's share.
• Fare estimates. Any fare shown before a trip begins is an estimate only. The final fare is calculated based on the actual distance driven, using Masar's then-current pricing.
• Cancellations. Either a rider or a driver may cancel a trip before it begins.
• Payment. Payment is currently made in cash directly to the driver at the end of the trip. Masar may introduce additional payment methods in the future, governed by these Terms as updated.
• Ratings. After each trip, riders and drivers may rate each other. Masar may use ratings to monitor service quality and may take action on accounts with a pattern of low ratings or reported issues.

5. Using the Driver Service

• Approval and documentation. Drivers must maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance at all times, and must promptly update Masar if any of these change or expire.
• Conduct. Drivers must comply with all applicable traffic and transportation laws, operate their vehicle safely, and treat riders professionally and respectfully.
• Independent contractor status. Drivers operate as independent contractors. Masar does not control the manner in which a driver provides transportation, does not guarantee any minimum number of trips or minimum earnings, and drivers are free to accept or decline individual trip requests.
• Fares and commission. Masar calculates the fare for each trip according to its then-current pricing, and retains a commission from each completed trip.
• Suspension. Masar may suspend or deactivate a driver account for safety concerns, policy violations, sustained low ratings, expired documentation, or at Masar's reasonable discretion.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information when registering or using the Services;
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other user;
• Attempt to circumvent Masar's fare, matching, or payment systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
• Use another person's account without permission.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Support and Communications

Masar provides in-app support chat and may be contacted at support@masar-taxi.com. Communications sent through the Services may be reviewed by authorized Masar staff to resolve support requests, investigate policy violations, or ensure platform safety, and are logged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Masar name, logo, and the Services (including the Masar Taxi app, Masar Driver app, and website) are the property of Masar LTD and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." MASAR DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT A DRIVER WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ANY GIVEN TRIP REQUEST. MASAR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY RIDER OR DRIVER, ON OR OFF THE PLATFORM.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MASAR LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY TRIP ARRANGED THROUGH THE SERVICES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Masar LTD, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or demand arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

Masar may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at Masar's reasonable discretion. You may stop using the Services and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@masar-taxi.com.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and, where changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
